6 Factors That Affect the Cost of Breast Augmentation | Delaware Valley Plastic Surgery in Cherry Hill, NJ

Breast Augmentation: How Much Does It Really Cost?

It’s no surprise that one of the most commonly searched questions about breast augmentation surgery is “How much does a breast augmentation cost?”

The cost of breast augmentation is a question that we get asked often. Dr. Sorokin, a board-certified surgeon at Delaware Valley Plastic Surgery in Cherry Hill, NJ is regarded by many as the “go-to guy” for breast augmentation not only in Philadelphia and New Jersey, but on the East Coast of the United States. Patients from all over the country travel to Southern New Jersey for a surgical experience with Dr. Sorokin. He performs hundreds of breast enhancements and revisions every year. To get help in a caring, pressure-free environment, request a consultation with him today.

Most surgeons don’t post fees online and without a consultation because fees will vary based on what needs to be done. More importantly, decision-making based solely on cost is not advisable. In this blog post, we will discuss the pricing of breast augmentation and all of the factors that contribute to the cost at Delaware Valley Plastic Surgery.

So, how much does a breast augmentation procedure cost?

The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) is an organization of over 2,600 plastic surgeons devoted to educating and supporting both plastic surgery patients and providers. According to their 2022 fee study, the average cost of breast augmentation is $4,617

This figure represents the surgical fee only and excludes expenses such as anesthesia, pre-op and post-op care, and other related costs. To obtain an accurate estimate, consult with Dr. Sorokin.

At Delaware Valley Plastic Surgery, cost is an important consideration and we like to present a clear explanation of all costs and fees to our patients.

Our package costs start at around $7000. We may not be the lowest price in the area, but we certainly aren’t the highest either. We do however believe we offer a great value. For instance, all blood work and testing is done in house to save you not only extra cost, but extra time! Costs included in the package price that we will give each patient include:

  1. Surgeon’s fee (based on what needs to be done and how long it will take)
  2. Anesthesia fee (based on amount of time)
  3. Facility fee (operating room, nurses, sterile and non-sterile supplies)
  4. Implants (price varies for saline versus silicone)
  5. Preoperative labs and testing
  6. Postoperative bras and dressings

Additional costs include the cost of postoperative prescriptions, medical clearance if needed, mammograms if needed, and pathology testing of any breast tissue sent to an outside pathologist for testing if needed. During your in-person consultation, we can provide you with a precise cost breakdown, discuss financing options, and address any other questions that you may have.

Dr. Sorokin: Your “Go-to-Guy” for Breast Augmentation

Few plastic surgeons will outright tell you that there is a particular procedure on which they focus their practice, as they are afraid of scaring away potential patients interested in other procedures. Dr. Sorokin specifically tells patients that this is the procedure he does the most year after year, and he has developed a patient following from near and far.
