Breast Augmentation Revision: Patient 11
This is a 39-year-female body builder who came to see me for a breast augmentation revision. She originally had two very differently shaped breasts and had a breast augmentation that left her asymmetric. Her problem was not just size but also a significant difference in shape and this was not addressed. Trip two to the operating room the surgeon switched her from moderate profile implants (which were the wrong style for her breast width) and put in high profile implants as well as doing a lift on the left side. Unfortunately she was not lifted quite enough. She came to see me and I recommended using two different sized high profile implants but also doing a lift on both sides in order to obtain better symmetry. She is shown here before her revision and after her revision with a significant improvement in symmetry and shape.
