Breast Lift: Patient 10
This is a 33 year old patient who came to me after breast feeding left her feeling deflated and that her breasts were hanging too low. She knew that breast feeding would be good for her babies but did not realize how much harm it would cause to the appearance of her breasts. I see this every week in my practice. Breastfeeding notoriously changes the appearance of the breast both in patients with and without implants. I see many ladies who have never had implants that feel that their breasts change after pregnancy and I also see ladies who had achieved beautiful full perky breasts with implants but noted that they changed significantly after kids. This patient was a D cup and wanted to be smaller but fuller and to have her youthful breasts back. I explained that a lift without implants would reposition the areola to its normal position and remove sag from the breast but there is very little firm breast tissue left and so that an implant could be used to give her back some fullness and shape. She chose a small, 160cc ergonomic Motiva breast implant to give back some firmness while not adding much augmented appearance upper pole. The ergonomic implant delivers less upper pole and a more natural look as the gel is a softer, more mobile gel. She is absolutely delighted with her early results shown her before the anchor incision breast lift with subfascial muscle sparing location of her 160cc breast implants.
