This patient came to see me wanted to obtain as natural an appearance as possible. She desired teardrop shaped implants over round implants as they have less upper pole fullness and tend to appear more natural. I do not usually recommend anatomic shaped implants to most patients as I feel that in a sub muscular (under the muscle position) a modest sized round implant can be placed in such a way to make it still look natural. Anatomical implants are also more expensive, can rotate out of the position placed, and are more firm to the touch than round implants. Still, for the right patient they are a great choice. This patient is the perfect candidate as she wants to look natural and is very thin with quite small breasts to start with. She is shown before and after augmentation with 245cc Allergan Style 410MM implants. She is very happy with the results and while shown here 3 months out has been in touch with me 2 years out and continues to be very pleased.
