If you hate shaving your legs, armpits, bikini or if you have lip hair, chin hair, or even nipple hair, now is the time to consider laser hair removal.
Laser hair removal is a safe and effective treatment for long term reduction in hair growth. There is no such thing as complete hair removal unfortunately however by using a laser, you can significantly cut down on the amount of hair and need for shaving, waxing, and/or plucking.
I use a Candela GentleMax laser which is actually two lasers in one machine. The laser is both an ND:Yag laser as well as an Alexandrite laser. This allows for treatment of many skintones and hair color. Since my office is located in Cherry Hill New Jersey I perform all of the laser hair removal myself as NJ law says that laser can only be performed by a physician, not just a laser tech. In Philadelphia (which is only 15 minutes away) any laser tech can perform the laser treatments so one needs to check who is performing the treatment and what training they have.
Many people start laser treatment in the winter as it is difficult to treat people with tans and thus to have less hair for next Summer, now is the time!
