Breast Lift: Patient 4
This is a 56 year old who did not like the position and sag of her large breasts. She came in for a breast lift. An anchor style mastopexy/reduction was performed to remove the loose skin and reposition the breasts higher on her chest wall. An anchor type mastopexy is very similar to a reduction with a reduction just taking off a little more tissue as done here to make her a cup size smaller. She is delighted with the postoperative result being able to wear regular bras and clothing without always having to reposition her breasts in a supportive bra. She is early here and it takes about a year for the scars to continue to fade and mature into white lines.
