Breast Augmentation #32276

This patient chose to get saline implants despite my high recommendations that Silicone would give her a nicer result.  You can see that she already has some rippling in the early postoperative photos especially towards her cleavage.  Problem is that in very thin patients like this saline simply is not as nice a result as silicone.  That being said some patients are afraid of silicone.  They are afraid that it will cause illness.  Silicone breast implants have been studied extensively and are safe and effective devices.  That being said, some ladies are too afraid to use them.  She is very happy with her result, fills out clothes and bathing suits very well, and perhaps the little bit of rippling bothers me more than it does her!
