This is a 30 year old patient who lost over 50 pounds and came to see me unhappy with the deflated appearance of her breasts. This is very common after large amounts of weight loss and after pregnancy. We discussed options including the potential of a lift for her nipple asymmetry and decided to use silicone breast implants. Silicone comes in different versions of thickness and overfill and there are implants that are more thickly filled and give more of an upper pole roundness and implants with a more natural slope. She wanted to get as much upper pole as possible so I choice Allergan SCF 450cc implants. This is Allergan's most cohesive implant that gives the most upper pole. A potential downside of this implant compared to their soft touch is it is very slightly more firm but over the years of many patients I do not think there is a significant difference in feel and thus for the right patient it is a perfect choice. She is shown here before and after at 6 weeks.
