Dr. Sorokin is honored to be listed in this year’s America’s Best Plastic Surgeons 2025 by Newsweek and Statista!
This is the fourth year in the row that Dr. Sorokin has been honored by Newsweek Magazine in this national listing. To rank physicians Newsweek Magazine polled physicians with over 10,000 peer recommendations analyzed this year. Using the term “best” in their description is something that Dr. Sorokin says is perhaps not the greatest adjective as he would never claim to be the best. He believes that while there are many excellent surgeons listed there are also many missing from the list that should be on there. They described their criteria for ranking that included:
- Peer recommendations (45% of total score), both in-state and out-of-state recognition
- Quality of care ratings (15%) based on factors such as consultation experience, outcomes, and follow-up
- Board certification (5%) through the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), which recognizes surgeons who have completed additional rigorous training and examinations.
In this listing he is the highest ranked plastic surgeon in New Jersey for breast augmentation and #28 for the country. He is honored to be ranked among surgeons who are widely considered to be thought leaders and pioneers in breast enhancement.
