This 34-year-old lady came in to see me after her second child. Weight gain, weight loss, and breast feeding had taken its tole on her breasts and she wanted options for enhancement. Sometimes it is easy to look at a patient and say "you need a lift." Sometimes they are borderline and recommendations are more difficult. The tradeoff for a little more perkiness in the result are extra incisions which inevitably leave scars. In darker skin tones, scars are quite often more prominent. I think it is very important for the prospective borderline lift patient to understand what she can and cannot achieve without a lift. The results here of a moderate sized 450cc implant show very realistic results of what can be achieved. This patient is delighted with her results. Some ladies might desire more roundness, less lower pole fullness, more upper pole fullness and not accept the result.
