Dr. Sorokin's Training and Experience
Dr. Evan Sorokin is a Board Certified plastic surgeon with a wide range of experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He specializes in breast augmentation, liposuction, and abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). Delaware Valley Plastic Surgery, located in Cherry Hill, serves south New Jersey and Philadelphia plastic surgery patients as well as patients traveling from Delaware and New York.

Dr. Sorokin is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). Plastic surgeons certified by the ABPS have graduated from an accredited medical school and have completed at least five years of additional training as resident surgeons in programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Medical Education. This includes at least three years of residency training in general surgical methods in addition to at least two years devoted entirely to plastic surgery. To become certified, a doctor must pass comprehensive written and oral exams. The ABPS, one of the 24 specialty boards recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), is the only ABMS board that certifies physicians in plastic surgery of the entire body. Dr. Sorokin is a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the New Jersey Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Camden County Medical Society, and the American Medical Association.
A native of Cherry Hill, NJ, cosmetic surgeon Dr. Sorokin received his undergraduate education at Cornell University. After graduating from this Ivy League university with magna cum laude honors, he attended medical school at Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia. Next, he completed general surgery and plastic surgical training in Dallas, Texas at the widely respected University of Texas - Southwestern. This training program is regarded by the plastic surgery community as one of the top-notch cosmetic surgery programs in the country. Dr. Sorokin ultimately returned home to New Jersey to found a plastic surgery practice of his own.
